A leading expert in breathing, Epsy has dedicated over a decade to studying, teaching, and guiding people toward better health by optimizing their breath and harnessing the power of the mind-body connection.
Originally from Paris, France, Epsy was a successful entrepreneur, thriving in a fast-paced but highly stressful environment. Despite being physically active, she struggled with anxiety, overthinking, and the relentless demands of a busy life. Retraining her breath saved her life, transforming her health, mental clarity, and resilience. Drawing on her scientific background—holding a master’s degree in chemistry—she immersed herself in the science and physiology of breathing to understand why.
Epsy trained extensively in the Buteyko Method and the Oxygen Advantage®, a science-based approach to functional breathing that improves efficiency, endurance, and overall health. She also studied ancient Pranayama and Qigong breathing, integrating their wisdom with modern research to create a powerful method for optimizing breath.
Her path of exploration also led her to study Buddhist psychology at Spirit Rock Meditation Center in California, where she deepened her understanding of mindfulness, compassion, and awareness practices. These teachings now enrich her work in mind coaching and compassionate hypnotherapy, allowing her to guide clients with both scientific precision and a heart-centered approach.
As the founder of Retrain Your Breathing, Epsy helps people regain control over their nervous system, reduce stress and anxiety, and restore balance through proper breathing techniques. She believes that breathing is the bridge between the mind and body—the key to resilience, clarity, and overall well-being.
